2008 – 2009 Kiwanian of the Year
Congratulations to Marc Iwahiro DMD, owner of Keizer Family Dental Care, located in Keizer, Oregon. Dr. Iwahiro was named Kiwanian of the Year by the Salem Kiwanis Club at their annual Installation of Officers and Directors Banquet on September 22, 2009.
During the banquet Dr. Iwahiro was officially retired as president of the club after having had a very successful year which included establishment of the very first Internet Key Club at Oregon Connections Academy. Other projects by the club during Marc’s year in officer included participation in Marion-Polk Foodshare, The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, Salvation Army Bread Delivery, elementary school mentoring at Richmond Elementary School, attendance and scholastic awards at both Richmond and Grant Elementary Schools, donations to the Ronald McDonald House and fundraising to support Doernbecher Childrens Hospital in Portland.
